About Progely
Pragmatic software, built to last. Progely is a French development studio that builds custom business software and ships its own products. For more than fifteen years we have been making tools that companies genuinely use — and that we keep alive over time.
Who we are
We are a small team that prefers work done well to grand announcements. Progely has two complementary sides: we build custom applications for companies, public bodies and industry, and we publish our own software — Panoptix, AlarMail, Stockman — used every day by professionals. Building our own products forces us to live what our clients live: going into production, maintenance, evolutions, the real life of a piece of software.
What we believe
A few simple principles guide everything we do.
Pragmatism first
Software only has value if it solves a real problem. We speak without jargon, oversell nothing, and prefer a simple tool that works to an impressive contraption that doesn’t.
We adapt to you
No two projects are the same. We fit around the way you work, your pace and your thinking — our advice and experience arrive when you need them.
Built to last, yours to keep
We build on proven foundations and document as we go, so your applications are genuinely yours and another team could pick them up when the time comes. No forced lock-in.
We use what we sell
Panoptix, AlarMail, Stockman: our products run in production for real clients. So we know what maintaining software means — because we do it every day.
In it for the long run
We don’t deliver and disappear. Takeover, modernisation, maintenance: we prefer lasting relationships to one-off projects.
French and independent
A French studio, hosted in France, with data under control. We value our independence — and yours.
Curious by nature
Part of our energy goes into research: an open alarm-signaling protocol (OASP), a web interactivity library (Treact), a fog-dispersion simulator. This work feeds both our products and our client projects.
Two ways to work together
Let’s talk about your project
An idea, an ageing application, a business need that fits no box? Write to us — the first conversation is always free and jargon-free.
